I have always had the same thinking as you about this. You said it well. Although the Angels do help us without our permission, it is INDIRECT, by raising the vibration of Earth. They will not help us directly unless we ask. Therefore, other than the 6 cases you said, we need to ask permission.

Having said that, maybe, if we attempt to help someone without them knowing or without their permission, they will benefit IF they are ready or they will not benefit if they are not ready to be helped.
So it may be possible that someone may be ready before actually asking for help.

Hi! I am a Reiki Master-Teacher! One of my Reiki students showed me this blog. AS a teacher, I asked any healer to ask permission for healing in most of the situation except for the following, which you already stated: 1) accidents 2) mentally ill person; 3) possessed 4) addicted, 5) children, and 6) comatose patients. Outside these conditions, I teach to ask persmission. The reason is not about money but also about free will. God has given us two gifts which are FREE WILL and the Law of Karma. With regards to Free Will, God allows us to experience life based on our evolution and will. Otherwise, God and the angels will always interfere with any situation and the law of karma will not take effect. Same as in the healing, any disease comes from one’s own experience of life, true healing comes when the person has the openness to assume the responsibility to change it or heal it. This is where the concious permission is asked. God and the angels will never interfere with our own will unless asked. I have seen many clients who are not ready to be healed for different reasons. In this condition that we asked permission, otherwise we are intefering with their own Free Will to decide. I hope this explanation helps. Love and Lights
