Who are the 9 Goddesses – NavDurga?
NavDurga means 9 forms of Goddess Durga. In each of these 9 days, MaaDurga bestows a lot of blessings through her 9 beautiful and powerful forms. She blesses her devotees with good health, courage, strength, knowledge, prosperity, and also fulfills their desires. The 9 days of Navratri are devoted to invoking the 9 forms of the Goddess:
- Shailaputri
- Brahmacharini
- Chandraghanta
- Kushmanda
- Skandamata
- Katyayani
- Kaalratri
- Mahagauri
- Siddhidatri
